Sharon Gallardo is a Dominican-born, New York based actress/model. Ever since she was a little girl she had a great passion for performing , It started with dance and then  it evolved into acting.

 

After many failed negotiations with her parents to let her move to NYC so she could finish high school at the Fiorello La guardia High School ( this came from watching Fame about a 100 times ) She embarked on her NYC adventure in 2010 and enrolled in the Evening Conservatory program at The Stella Adler Studio of Acting.

 

Since graduating she has worked as a Model on the tv show “The Face” by Naomi Campbell, modeled for Beyoncé’s Merchandise collection, acted for Discovery ID shows and the Oxygen network and kept consistently working in theater. She produced and acted in  a short play for The New York Winter Theater Festival in 2019 called The Pregnancy Test by Lucia Gomez-Robledo. In an effort to keep her acting instrument polished during this unprecedented times,Sharon has participated in an unhealthy amount of playreads and started writing a pilot for a show.

 

Sharon dreams of portraying a detective in a Dick Wolf TV show, Playing MiMi on a RENT revival, leading lady on the next Jordan Peele’s movie. Sharon thinks it’s really funny to refer to herself in the third person. She can eat up to 12 tacos, is Bilingual (Spanish,English), and can make a mean egg sandwich.
